Natural Habitat: Prefers moist soils and will tolerate seasonal flooding

Where to Use:  Naturalizing in moist areas; good shade tree but can be messy with wind and ice damage; roots can spread aggressively so avoid areas with drains

Prune young trees carefully to avoid split trunks when older.
